The club is pleased to announce that we had four of our junior athletes representing Wales in the Under 18 International Mountain Running cup in Saluzzo, Italy. Maddie Griffiths, Aled Breeze, Callum Morgan and Finley Cullen all raced in very tough, hot conditions against some of the best junior mountain runners in the world. We are all extremely proud of them and happy to report the following results for our athletes:
Aled – 17th
Finlay – 39th
Callum – 41st
Maddie – 24th
A huge congratulations to all four athletes and a massive thank you to all those that went on the trip with them to help out and lend support. Not sure it took much persuading to get the families out there for a trip to the Italian sunshine! Well done to all the athletes and keep up the great work.
