We have 2 new courses starting soon: a 10 week beginners course starting Thursday 21st April, and a short 5 week intermediate course starting Thursday 17th March.

10 Week Beginners Course

Following numerous very successful courses when dozens of ladies and men have taken up running for fun, we are now starting a new course aimed at the beginner for both ladies and men. The group will commence with walking and gentle jogging to improve health and fitness. Everyone will be supported to go at their own pace.

THURSDAYS 6.30-7.30pm
Starting Thursday 21st April 2022
For 10 Weeks
Meet at entrance to Dolerw Park (old Radio Maldwyn Site)

This course will conclude with a celebration 3 mile/5k event on the 10th week – Thursday 23rd June 2022

5 Week Intermediate Course

Following a highly successful Beginners Course, we are now starting a new short 5 Week Intermediate Course for those who can now run 3miles/5k and wish to carry on running on a weekly basis with an organised group but are not quite ready to run on their own. During these nights slow, steady runs will be approximately 3miles/5k in length and will enable you to consolidate your running skills and become more a confident runner. All runners will be supported in running their own pace.

17th, 24th, 31st March & 7th, 14th April 2022

Ongoing Intermediate Sessions

Following a highly successful Beginners and Intermediate Course, we are now starting a new session on a Wednesday night for those who can now run 3miles/5k and wish to carry on running on a weekly basis with an organised group but are not quite ready to run on their own.

During these nights slow, steady runs will be approximately 4 miles/7k in length and will enable you to consolidate your running skills and become more a confident runner. All runners will be supported in running their own pace.

Commencing 6th April 2022 until 27th July 2022
