Have you thought about taking up running but not sure how to start? Do you want to improve your health and fitness? Do you want to meet new people?
Starting Thursday 9th January 2020, 6:00 – 7:00pm, we are running a fun, social 10-week course designed to support absolute beginners to take their first steps.
The course will commence with walking and gentle jogging, and will build up very gradually to a celebration 3 mile (5 kilometre) event on the 10th week (Thursday 12th March 2020).
Everyone is welcome, men and women, and you will be supported to go at your own pace – no one gets left behind. The group is led by volunteers who are qualified and licensed UK Athletics Running Fitness Coaches.
We meet on Thursdays at 6pm at Maldwyn Leisure Centre, Newtown. £2.00 per session. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear.
