Following a very successful men’s intermediate course, we have decided to run another Men only intermediate course for those men who can now run 3 miles and wish to carry on running on a weekly basis with an organised group, but are not quite ready to run with the Wednesday Men group who run 6-8 miles.
During the intermediate course, slow and steady runs of approximately 3 miles (5k) building up in length to 6 miles (10k) will take place to enable you to consolidate your running skills, become a more confident runner and move on to our Wednesday night men’s group.
The course runs for 10 weeks, starting Thursday 5th September, 6:00 – 7:00pm meeting at the Maldwyn Leisure Centre in Newtown.
This course will conclude with a celebration 6 mile (10k) event on the 10th week – Thursday 7th November 2019.
£2.00 per session. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear. The group will be led by volunteers who are qualified and licensed UK Athletics Running Fitness Coaches.
